Farm Happenings for April 4, 2020

Posted on March 31st, 2020 by Jessica Foote

Hello All,

I welcome you all to our 2020 season, and although there is a lot of social, economical instability at this time, your farmers here at Lunar Rhythm Gardens are well into the start of a new year of seeding and planting! Which is the good news, and for me a reassurance that I can continue to provide my community with high quality, nutrient dense food! A new growing season is always so exciting!

Our team here is working very hard to adjust a new normal for the long haul, we are doing our very best to social distance, wear masks, and take all precautions necessary for sanitation. People are no longer allowed in our packing house unless they are staff. We will be operating the Spring Basket Pick up outside. There will be tables spaced out and set up outside and I or a staff member will bring out the shares for you to pack into your own boxes or bags. And I already know that everyone will respect the 6ft social distancing parameters being set out by the public health organizations!  PLEASE IF YOU HAVE TRAVELED AND SHOULD BE ISOLATING HAVE SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP FOR YOU and drop it at your door step! Over half the people residing at the farm are high risk. Thanks for respecting your community!

We look forward to seeing you Saturday!

Cheers your farmer,

Jess
