Farm Stand Dec 15-16, 2023

Posted on December 10th, 2023 by Greg Stainton

Hello Members!

We have so many exciting new items for you this week!

Last week we asked for your help with finding local organic milk to feed to our Bresse chickens and you gave us some awesome tips (thank you so much!!!).  We were able to connect with Ellen from Upper Canada Creamery, a local organic dairy who will not only provide us with organic milk products for the chickens but will also partner with us so that we can offer all of their local, 100% organic dairy products to you as a part of our farm share and farm stand programs.  Starting this week we will have Upper Canada Creamery products available to you.  We will pick it up at the creamery weekly and have it fresh and ready for your pick up or delivery.  This means we will also revert to closing for orders on Tuesdays at 9AM to make sure there is time to have the products freshly made and ready for your order:).

And what goes better with milk than coffee and tea?  Starting with week, we will also offer ethically sourced, organic and locally roasted coffee from Rideau Roastery and ethically sourced, environmentally friendly and locally mixed and packaged teas from Pluck Teas (wouldn't they make great stocking stuffers?!).

We still have fresh outdoor-grown kale on the menu this week as well as a selection of our harvest that we have washed, prepped, blanched, vacuum packed and frozen for easy and delicious meals all winter long.

Thinking about giving the gift of local this Christmas?  We have farm shares of all sizes available or you can give a Harmony Farm gift card of any dollar amount that your loved one can use as credit on our online store.

Wishing everyone a great week.

Your farmers,

Kate and Greg.
