Posted on April 6th, 2019 by Eve Kaplan-Walbrecht

Hello!

Winter shares will be delivered Thurs April 11, Sat April 13 and Sun April 14.

Please make a note of the May 2/4/5 pickup dates on your calendar, that will be the last Winter Share pick up. To continue your veggies coming without interruption starting June 12/15/16, make sure you have signed up for SUMMER SHARES at https://csa.farmigo.com/join/gardenofevefarm.

Thank you to those who  have signed up already! it really helps us pay for seeds, soil, and help to get things planted!

- Our Farm Market will be opening for the season this coming Friday April 12! If you are picking up next weekend at the Riverhead farm, please come in and say hi! If you'd like to sign up for summer season in person, we can help you with that and you can pay cash, check, or CC.

-Remember, if you are a CSA member, you get FREE ADMISSION all season to our Fun Fields, a $40+ value for a family!

If you are at a pickup and confused or can't find the location, please call us at 631-722-8777 PICKUP DIRECTIONS ARE AT THE END OF THIS EMAIL, for all sites.

FARM NEWS: The spring seems to have come early this year - it's been quite a long time since that happened! We've been taking advantage of the warm, dry weather to get the fields plowed. Potatoes were planted on Friday! Here is a photo of the cut "seed potatoes" falling from the hopper down the chute, where they get placed in the ground at the correct spacing, and then buried. We will see them again in August when we start digging!
