The share is pre-boxed, and there will be two pickups in December and monthly Jan-May (total of 7 pickups). Share types include the “Full Diet” Share (veggies and eggs), Personal/Vegan share (just veggies), a “Greens-only” share, Meat, Eggs, Beer, Bread – and Seedlings (which you get in May).

Our fourth annual Oktoberfest, and last on-farm event for the season, is October 26-27. We will have live music in the afternoons, Oktoberfest food, pumpkins, hayrides, and more. Hope to see you there!

FRUIT SHARE: Apples - it will be apples from now till the end of the season, that's what's in season! Bake some delicious apple crisps, that's what we did...

BREAD SHARE: Brioche - a delicious buttery egg-bread type, great for French Toast.

CHEESE SHARE: Goodale Farms (a neighbor of ours) cheddar and feta. Love their feta!

Elizabeth is here on the farm for her second year – and is hopefully staying through the winter!   “My name is Elizabeth Nyawo, I am a young lady from Bulawayo a city in Zimbabwe. I journeyed to America in 2017, on a quest to learn more about Agriculture.

Garden of Eve farm offered me a great learning platform, and I learnt so much in that year . During that time I worked on three different types of things which included the Greenhouse, Garden center and Farm stand.

I was exposed  to a wide array of seasonal plants and vegetables that I can gladly name and identify to this day. Most of these vegetables were very new to me, I would always call home and tell them about the beautiful colorful Swiss chard, Arugula , Bok choi and the Humongous pumpkins I was exposed to at the Farm.

However, I felt like I hadn't tapped all the four corners of the farm, so I came back for a second year (2018) at Garden of Eve. I arrived just at the end of winter, COLD it was. I can now officially say I have tasted snow and nope it does not taste like cotton candy.

The 2018 season at Garden of Eve has been a fun and challenging season with a lot of new responsibilities.

I have been involved in everything from the seeding of the first crop in the green house, to harvesting the first greens and new potatoes. One of the greatest feelings for me was the opportunity to watch something grow and happily sending it out to someone’s home to make a lovely organic meal.

Working at the farm has opened my eyes and has exposed me to a lot of horticultural practices that I never imagined could be possible. Many thanks to the Farmers Chris and Eve.”
