Greetings from Fresh Start Farms!
The Dunbarton farmers' fields are full of spinach and we want to get lots of those delicious greens to you this week. A large 1/2lb bag of spinach is only $6!

This week you can also look forward to the first tastes of rhubarb (more to come next week!), green garlic, arugula, asparagus, salad mix, chives, radishes, scallions, and much more!

For some of our members, this will be the last delivery of the spring season. We are so thankful for your support and hope we'll see you in the summer share!
The Concord Umoja farmers are hard at work planting! New staff member, Jean d'Amour Nzarulinda, will be operating the Mobile Market and supporting food access work this summer. He also has an extensive agricultural background and here he is offering a workshop for the farmers last week!

We're just getting started!
The spring FarmShare is almost over, but don't worry, the summer share starts immediately following! Sign up today for your summer share and you won't miss a week of farm-fresh veggies!

Recipe of the Week
Radish & Turnip Hash with Fried Eggs

This spring hash recipe brings together spring radishes and turnips. Both are boiled briefly and then sautéed in a cast-iron skillet along with green garlic, eggs, and parsley. The recipe offers a change from a more conventional breakfast skillet, and although the ingredients might be somewhat unexpected, the results are hearty enough to rival hash browns!

New Dairy
Oh My Gouda!
Based on a Dutch Gouda recipe, Oh my Gouda from Cobb Hill Cheese is a washed curd cheese aged 3 to 4 months. This sweet and nutty natural rind cheese is made with rich and creamy raw Jersey cow milk which imparts a smooth and buttery flavor.
All of Cobb Hill cheeses are made from raw milk from pastured Jersey cows that are bred and raised at Cobb Hill Farm. From May to September the herd grazes on pasture maintained without artificial pesticides or fertilizers. During the non-pasture season, the Jerseys eat hay from their own fields and neighboring farms.
Nonfat Greek Strawberry Yogurt from Green Mountain Creamery! Each spoonful is a deliciously smooth and creamy treat with live probiotic cultures and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.

Green Mountain Creamery, in Brattleboro VT, creates Vermont-style yogurt with only rBST-free Grade A milk, and all products are naturally gluten-free.
Featured Proteins
As one of America’s few remaining, family-owned smokehouses, North Country is located in Claremont, NH and their Applewood Smoked Bacon is a delicious, hearty sliced bacon smoked over Applewood embers then cut in thick, flavorful strips. It is gluten, soy, dairy, filler, dye, and MSG free!
Heiwa tofu is handcrafted in small batches using organic, non-GMO soybeans grown on Maine and New England farms. Heiwa Tofu is a small family business in Rockport Maine committed to sourcing local organic soybeans to produce fresh delicious tofu.
