Farm Happenings for June 23-25, 2020

Posted on June 20th, 2020 by Stephanie Bradshaw

Hello Friends,

We are excited to send more farm fresh goodness your way!  Our tomatoes should start to make an appearance soon, we've actually had a handful ripen over the last week.  We raise a variety of tomatoes from heirloom to summer slices and cherry!  We love a good tomato sandwich!

Our summer produce is starting to come in as we wave goodbye to the spring greens.  We have decided to offer a short fall season.  We will start the last week of September and go for four weeks or so.  Please let us know if this is something that you plan to participate in.  We can automatically enroll you, which saves time and money!

Our melons should start to ripen the first or second week of July!  They should be nice and sweet since melons prefer hot, dry weather.  Wet conditions dilute the sweetness.  We look forward to sending lots of these melons soon!!

Hope you all have/had a Happy Father's Day...or week, if you are lucky enough to be so spoiled!

Thank you for your support - we couldn't do this without you!
