More than half of our produce is now coming from Northern Nevada. How exciting is it that we are supporting all of our local Farmers!!!
Look at this beautiful Napa Cabbage available this week but with a limited quantity. The Napa cabbage is grown in Fallon At Pioneer Farms. This cabbage tastes GREAT sautéed with a little bit of sesame oil. My hubby made a chicken stir fry with the Napa cabbage and a few other ingredients from our Farm Share Box and it was so delicious and FRESH!
Just in case you missed the news, we now have a new pick up location in Reno. The new location is in addition to the Reno locations. Desert Farming Initiative is located at 920 Valley Rd Greenhouse Complex Reno, NV 89512. Pick up time is Tuesday from 2-4. If this location is more convenient for you don’t hesitate to reach out and we can help you change your location pickup.
