Hey Farm Fans,
We have some exciting news this week. Kelli and I had a lunch date with Jill the Director from DFI (Desert Farming Initiative) on Monday. Starting next month we will be getting produce from DFI. That means we will be getting less produce from California and more right here in Reno!!!
I will be sending out a separate email to all the Sierra Foods Market subscribers with details about the new location pickup starting April 5th 2022. Dont worry its just a few doors down in the same shopping center. Be on the look out for that email.
I have even more exciting news!!!! My husband and I got 5 chicks over the weekend. Ive never had chickens before and boy do they poop ALOT. My husband and I are going to build them a coop in our backyard this weekend. I am a little obsessed and can’t wait to watch these little cuties grow. I am even more thrilled that my sweet pup, Loki, is enjoying them and watching over them. He is already a great big brother to them, and not to mention a great big brother to our 6 month old Sulcata Tortoise, Donatello.
