Who's excited about Daylight Savings next weekend? I know I am, because this means I wont want to go to bed at 7pm anymore.
This weeks Featured Produce is a cocktail grapefruit. Cocktail grapefruits are aromatic and contain low acidity, developing a sweet, subtly tart flavor with orange, floral, herbal, and fruity notes. I personally LOVE mixed drinks with grapefruit juice. No disrespect to the all-powerful citric trio of lemon, lime and orange, but if you really want a good sweet-tart cocktail, then grapefruit is where it's at. This fruit plays well with almost any spirit from tequila to rum to vodka.
