It's a good week to load up on tomato seconds if you're wanting to preserve for the winter because the tomatoes are coming to an end soon! We are starting to tear out the tomato plants in the unheated tunnel and replacing them with late season greens.

Week 15
It's beginning to feel like fall on the farm! The light is changing and the temperatures are swinging much more these days. Sweaters are being abandoned all over the farm lol!
Lettuce is back this week and it's delicious! Woohoo!

Harvest mornings are just so delightful right now! It's a bit chilly, but when the sun comes out nobody is complaining!

When it rains it pours! We didn't get the deluge like most of you in Ottawa, but it was the most we've gotten in a single day this year! The crops are drinking it up!

This past week we got so much rain!! It was amazing and the crops are looking pretty happy because of it.

The week off was a good call for our crops in the field beds. We even got some nice rain!
