Week 19
We have more squashes from Forman Farms this week and apples from Hall's as well! I had the BEST apple crisp this week...highly recommended!
At this time last year we had frost already! There is none in the forecast so far...yay! Every extra day of warmth is most welcome! read more »

Week 18
This week some of our fall crops are starting to hit their stride including the turnips and stir fry mix. Enjoy them while they are available!
Our kale and chard are a little behind with the warm weather...the like it chilly! We will be able to have more available soon though.

We have small quantities of red onions, zucchinis and cucumbers available this week!
Pictured here are some of the zucchinis that are just starting to produce some fruits, we have more in the big greenhouse where the cherry tomatoes were earlier in the season.

Week 16
It's a good week to load up on tomato seconds if you're wanting to preserve for the winter because the tomatoes are coming to an end soon! We are starting to tear out the tomato plants in the unheated tunnel and replacing them with late season greens.

Fair Sun Farm is a small-scale certified organic vegetable and flower farm located in Spencerville, Ontario. We service families in Spencerville, Kemptville and Ottawa.
