Week 3!

Brrr, it got cold this week!!! Thankfully we didn't get a hard frost at our place! It was quite windy and some crops outside look like they didn't really enjoy it...but for the most part, everything is alive!!

The weeds and grass are starting to thrive which means we've got a whole new set of tasks each week to add to the list. Here's hoping we can keep up!

Pictured above is the view from the South side of our house gardens. You can see our house, a small plexiglass greenhouse, the pack shed, hoophouse #2, the tail end of the big heated greenhouse and the green strip on the roof of the barn and shop.

Some of the crops in the photo include lettuce, romaine, cilantro, parsley and some flowers.

This week we have more products available in the "extras" area including coffee from Rideau Roastery and honey from Vichos! Both are local businesses that have wicked-awesome women running the show. I will send some more info about them later this week, but for now, check out their websites to learn more about them!
