Farm Happenings for November 17&18, 2023

Posted on November 12th, 2023 by Mike Nolan

Friends,

Thanks giving is almost here again - it's hard to believe how fast time is moving this year.

I have added some extra options to the CSA (and remember that you can buy extra if needed through the "farm stand")

FRESH TURKEYS!! (NOT FROZEN) from North Mountain Pastures Farm. I am headed there Thursday to help process the birds (an annual tradition) and you can get them Friday or Saturday at your drop points.

YOU MUST PLACE THE ORDER VIA THEIR WEBSITE BY THIS THURSDAY MORNING 11/16.

NO MARKUP & NO DELIVERY CHARGE - IT'S ON ME.

Look for the following added to your CSA list this week:

Organic Massachusetts Cranberries

Egg Nog! The best Egg Nog money can buy fresh from Apple Valley Creamery , the single source dairy where we get the milk - cows are milked Thursdays for Friday delivery to us, AND... the cows have not been off the farm in over 70 years and this keeps their health optimal.

Napa cabbage, Poblano peppers, Yellow and red onions are back, Dill, Arugula (2 for the price of 1 because it's abundant this week), Bok Choi, Lettuce mix, Red flesh potatoes, Blue flesh opotatoes, Honey Giftboxes from our farm (3 types of honey gift-wrapped in a classy black box with a ribbon),  Seasonal greens wreaths made by me fro your door or wall to bring some of the outdoors inside during these long almost winter nights!

The dried flower wreaths are still available also as are what may be the last week of fresh bouquets from the farm.

Thanks and see you soon!

Mike
