We are busy enjoying this glorious, warm, long late-summer weekend. I hope you all are finding some time to get out and/or get away. These crisp mornings and cool nights with a sweet-sun filling are perhaps my most favorite time of year. I can feel the fieldwork slowing down. Kids are going back to school. The season of house projects and self-care is closing in. We are fortunate to have our good health and to be surrounded by so much love and inspiration. We are over the hump of the season, and there is still so much to be done - but arriving in Sept, by any means, with full fields, full hearts, and with energy to spare, is a true victory. We are excited to cruise into fall with you all, looking ahead to bountiful storage crops and the return of hearty greens and tender lettuces and snappy mustards. It's a beautiful confluence of seasons, when peppers collide with kale, and popcorn with potatoes, and tomatoes with turnips. Theres just so much goodness. Thank you for making it all possible, for keeping the big wheel turning.
