Hello Farm Standers! :)
This is a short note this week to say thank you for all of the lovely orders and for making this possible. It's a treat to hand you a box of goodies at market, and so nice to get off of the farm and catch up with friends.
Two product notes: We are again offering BREAD from Silver Falls Bakery as an add-on extra. Bakers choice of his three sourdough loves and/or a baguette. Dan's bread is a staple in our household, and we hope you'll give it a try if you haven't already. He's selling on Saturdays from his shop as well, where you can get it for a dollar cheaper per loaf. Please go say hi if you can, but if you are a one-stop shopper, this is the place to get the best sourdough this side of the Interstate.
Also, while we are again offering chevre from Portland Creamery (so good, so creamy), we are also offering 8oz bags of goat cheddar cheese curds. yum!

*I want to take a moment with all of you current Farm Stand subscribers to reiterate the nuts and bolts of this weekly "opt-in" option for ordering with Diggin' Roots Farm. Harvie Farm Stand works as follows:
- Notification emails (like this one) will go out at 8am on Thurs mornings, with a link to order. You will have until Thurs at 11:59 to opt-in and make any substitutions or additions to your share. If you follow the link (it’s the same link each week!) after 8am on Thurs, and you are unable to place an order, it is because we are sold out. This is happening quickly in early Spring.
- Farm Stand subscribers who "opted-in" for a share are not charged until orders are finalized (usually Friday morning), at which point you will be charged for the minimum $20 base share, plus any additions/extras/add-ons. Your total price will not be reflected in the initial “opt-in” confirmation email.
- Being a Farm Stand subscriber does not obligate you in any way to order from week to week, nor does it exclude you from signing up for the main season CSA (beginning in June). Farm Stand will be available throughout the season, and is a great way to stay in touch regarding extra inventory for sale. It is important to note, however, that CSA members will receive priority in product selection/preferences/
