Greeting everybody,
It's hard to believe it's already the end of July. August and September mark the busiest months for vegetable farmers. We are still planting, still weeding, but as August progresses we will be harvesting just about everything. It's particularly busy for our farm because much of our trained staff heads back to classes in 4 short weeks.
As you can see, tomatoes are on! Cherry tomatoes are rolling in this week. Heirlooms, rounds, and plums should start next week. Also, sweet corn is back!
The attached picture is of the giant moon that rose over the mountain to the south. I managed to get a lot of our veggies in the shot too.
