The season is briskly moving along, the days are getting shorter and the nights are definitely getting cooler. Hope you all have your power back after last week's wind storm, some of us up this way were working by generator to get this week's orders processed! Shares include rutabagas from Buckle Farm, cabbage from Ironwood Farm, delicata squash and Virtus Radicchio from New Beat Farm, and these good farmers are keeping lots of greens coming your way, chard and braising greens from Dig Deep Farm, Tatsoi, Vitamin Green, Spinach and mini butterhead lettuce from New Beat Farm. The Fruit Share includes Organic Cranberries from Red Bog Cranberries and no-spray apples from Teltane Farm. We're starting to think about all the delicious food we can send your way for Thanksgiving feasts, it will be here in no time!
Putting shares on hold - if you experience difficulty putting any of your shares on hold please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assist you. If your main share (Local 25, Family Bounty, Eat Your Greens or Meat) has an add-on attached, such as eggs, yogurt or bread, and you place the main share on hold it will hold both shares. So if you're not trying to hold both of those shares you'll need assistance from Harvie to do that. Let us know and we'll get it taken care of.
Update from Fuzzy Udder Creamery
It’s been a busy summer here at Fuzzy Udder Creamery! This year we milked 50 sheep and goats on our small 4 acre farm in Whitefield, Maine. As the season is changing, our ladies are getting ready to take their yearly winter vacation from being milked. We’re still making plenty of cheese though and will have soft ripened cheeses available through the holiday season. You can find our cheeses in many retail locations all over Maine’s coast as well as at our farm and at farmers markets. Follow us on social media to stay up to date on where to find us and the hilarious antics of our animals!
