Hoping for rain & CSA season begins.

We continue to be very dry and exceptionally warm here on the farm. Unfortunately, we did not get any rain when the storms last Friday rolled through (though we did get a tipped over chicken coop, check out our social media for pictures of that adventure). Our next chance for rain is tonight or tom1 read more »

It has been a hot week on the farm and from the latest forecasts it looks like there is no end in sight to this abnormal, record setting heat. Posted on November 11th, 2020
Next season. Seems like it's so far away but our minds are already on it. We're thinking about which varieties of seeds we'll plant, what we'll be putting into tunnels next year, what new equipment might help us be more efficient, and what new things we might want to try. Winter markets; what's available and when are they?

Posted on October 27th, 2020
Winter came early this year! Some years we'd be really stressed about this but this year we were able to get our storage crops into storage and were able to get our fall cleanup done just in time for the snow. Late Season Tasks

Posted on October 15th, 2020
We've been busy on the farm doing working on several late season tasks. The biggest of these is our fall cleanup. All of the tools we use to grow produce need to be picked up and put away for the winter. This includes pulling up the landscape fabric we use to suppress weeds, pulling up tomato cages1 read more »
