My goodness, we cannot believe how quickly this year is passing by. Our team is planning ahead for the holidays, coordinating schedules and finishing up big end of the year projects. Things have slowed down in the gardens, but we continue to make sure the plants are warm inside the greenhouse and under row cover, and we look forward to our harvest days each week. We are so fortunate to live in Tennessee where we can grow food for the community year around.

We've been harvesting loads of beets and are approaching a very large carrot harvest. We have lots of lettuces and other lovely greens to incorporate into your salads, like asian greens and Italian greens. To go with the asian greens, we are sending you a half pound of ginger that can be used for delicious salad dressings, tea, soup, and so much more. We'll also be sending butternut squash and sweet potatoes, so get ready for a week of easy roasting dinners!

Reminder: you have from now until Sunday at 8pm to customize your CSA box! We have A LOT of: sweet potatoes, winter squash and beets. Swap or add on these items and stock up for winter!

Let us know what you're cooking on our Caney Fork Farms CSA Facebook group and be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with farm happenings!

Happy eating!
