Next week will our last Summer CSA deliveries of 2021. We've felt so fortunate to grow your food this past season. We hope you cooked lots of delicious meals with all the veggies and maybe even tried some items you wouldn't have otherwise.

For our last summer CSA box, we're sending you a couple fun new items – broccoli and ginger. Yum. They will taste delicious together in a stir fry. Chop up a big salad with your Napa cabbage and mizuna and top with those tender French breakfast radishes. Roast your koginut squash like you would any other winter squash, and toss the sweet potatoes in while the oven's hot. If you are unsure about what some of the items in your box are, don't forget we post a photo of each week's share to our Instagram highlight reel called "CSA Examples."

We hope you'll join us for the Winter CSA, which will run December-early May. We are grateful for greenhouses and storage crops that allow us to provide local, healthy food for our CSA members ALL year long. If you haven't joined, sign up for the Winter CSA here.

Hakurei turnips
Sweet peppers
Napa cabbage
French breakfast radish
Koginut squash
Sweet potatoes
Ginger
Baby beets
Mizuna
 
*The harvest list is always tentative. The garden decides what's in the box. 
 

Extras:

I have a few 1 lb bags of garlic from The Goat Mother – grown using organic and biodynamic practices in Lafayette, TN. $12/1 lb bag. Reply to this email if you want to add on to your order.
