Hello Members! (Remember to click on Continue Reading to see the whole newsletter)-

This week on the farm, we have seen lots and lots of tiny little frogs, painted turtles and our resident Sandhill Cranes seem extra chatty and abundant!  Its so wonderful for us to be able to see the increase of biodiversity on our farm while we have been here.  It does seem that each year, we see more and more.

Summer crops are just starting now, but are still a little ways off like sweet corn, peppers and tomatoes! Our fall carrots are planted and the last of our broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower plants are going into the ground this week.  It's always strange how you can be anticipating the fruits of summer while also planning for fall/winter. Seasons!

In this weeks box you might see: (ill update on Wednesday)

Cauliflower or broccoli

summer squash

Cucumbers

Grean Beans

Spring Mix

Herb Mix bunch (a mix of several)

Beet Bunch

Garlic Scapes

Bunching Onions

Swiss Chard

Celery (cutting celery)

garlic is almost ready to harvest!  It's looking pretty darn good this year.

Sweet corn...maybe next week?

New potatoes coming right along. Next week?

Have a great week!
