Well, this is the transition time for fall crops.    Watermelon on the way out and butternut and fall greens on the way in.   This time of year is always interesting.   We made out final push this last week to get all seeds in the ground for our harvests this year.    1 read more »

Sweet bulls horn peppers are beautiful this week, and the shiitakes are still raging!!!   we are trying to avoid summer burnout as the weeks are hot and humid and the kids go back to school.   September 1 is just around the corner as the fall crops continue to grow strong. read more »

SHIITAKES are still coming strong.    On the fruit side, we are seeing some cantaloupes coming in this week, which is always exciting.  this fruit like watermelons are a challenge to grow because we can't always know what's going on inside the melon until they are cut open.   Gr1 read more »
