Farm Happenings for July 12, 2022

Posted on July 10th, 2022 by Rae Strobel Barr

WE GOT RAIN!   A good one over two days.   Not sure if it will break the drought entirely but it has really helped.    It was the first significant precipitation in almost a month.   Things that we had been watering constantly grew overnight!    The watering has paid off for sure as we have Watermelon and Spaghetti squash in the box this week....and field tomatoes are finally starting to make an appearance.   Hope you enjoy the cooler weather as much as we do.

Also, we are now offering HERBAL TEAs (see description) from another KY farmer, Tiffany Bellfield.    We continue to try to support other farmers as we can.    Also, we have eggs and mushrooms available from our neighbors again this week.
