Farm Happenings for July 30, 2019

Posted on July 28th, 2019 by Rae Strobel Barr

Well friends, the summer monotony has set in for us for sure.   It always makes this time a year a challenge.   Still holding out hope for some fun delicious crops in the next couple weeks (okra, corn, melons), and without them it makes things feel a little bit lean out here.   If we don't see those crops coming in there is a chance we will take off a week in August to try and reset the farm (and ourselves) for the fall.  You will get an email if that needs to happen.   At least the humidity came down a whole lot!   Makes the heat a lot more tolerable.  Hope you enjoy this time before kids go back to school...hard to believe that Cedar starts kindergarten in about 1 week!
