Week 20 Cider time!

This week is the final week of the Summer shares. Those with credits, especially those not continuing in the Fall, please enjoy selecting from the array of extras.    Next week will be the makeup week - if you have not already scheduled a makeup for week 21 be sure to email Bridget (CSA@agriberry.com / reply to this email) as soon as possible, preferably by this Wednesday the 11th so we can be sure to coordinate that for you.  Only pre-arranged makeups for next week will be accommodated, we will NOT be able to fill any WALKUP makeup requests the week of the 16th.    The new item this week is delicious apple cider pressed at Rinker's Orchard in Stevens City, VA. Our staff also taste tested cider from another orchard in the area and we are happy to say that Rinker's is still the best. Other items in the share this week include Honeycrisp apples which are available to all, limited amount of Ruby Macs - a beautiful dark MacIntosh apple, and AutumnCrisp - a decent sized apple similar to HoneyCrisp with a touch of tartness. Asian Pears and raspberries are available this week as well as a limited number of Red Bartlett pears. The field crew is still working hard to harvest the raspberries and begin plant care for the fall season so we have beautiful fruit for next year - input from this week's model, Helen, our field personnel manager.
