Happy Sunday Farm Share Members!
This week, we are bringing you a box of delicious fruits from our own fields in Hanover as well as a beautiful plum medley curated by Farmer Chuck from our wonderful partners over at Saunders Brothers Farm.
The standard share will include 2 pints of blackberries, 1 half pint of raspberries, and a pint of plums. The plum varieties we are offering are the Red Hearts and the Fortunes.
Swaps and extras this week include the always delicious Yellow Peaches and Asian Pears from Saunders Brothers Farm, Gala Apples from Hollabaugh Farm and and Honey Crisp Apples from Chris Baugher both in Adams County Pennsylvania.
The Fall CSA is near and we are super excited to bring you fall fruit bounty weekly, and if you have not determined if you are going to auto-renew or not, please be sure to do so as soon as possible.
I hope you all are enjoying this cooler than usual August weather. With apples and sub-90 degree temperatures, I am beginning to think that it is already fall! School is starting up again (in whatever manner each educational facility chooses to do so), and the summer season fruits and dwindling down.
