Stonehouse Market Farm

Our small farm rests on ten acres just south of Scottsville, Kentucky. We grow year-round on just one—43,560 square feet—of those ten acres. Our aim is not to grow bigger, just better. By staying small, we’re able to use growing methods that are ecologically, economically, and—most important—emotionally sustainable. Each year, we work to grow more food on the same amount of land. Most of the work done on our farm is accomplished with humanpower instead of horsepower. Our intensive methods dramatically improve the health of our soil and give our family a better quality of life on the farm. All of what we produce travels little over 30 miles from farm to table.
