Well this was a weird week that's for sure. The smoke that rolled in from Canada was defiantly odd and unpleasant, especially when your work office is the outdoors. Great seeing fresh air come back to us. The farms are very very dry and we are full on irrigation mode right now. We sold a load of straw to a local vendor and 5 minutes later a fuel truck pulled in for a load of diesel fuel to run our irrigation pumps. The money went in our hands for 5 minutes and back out, I couldn't help but laugh.
This week we have greenhouse tomatoes, snap peas, and of course fresh strawberries! Get them while they last, because the season is way to short!
