Talk about gorgeous weather! I love this time of the year when the night cools off a bit and we wake up early and that little chill is still in the air, but by mid day its summer for a few more hours. We started digging our world famous potatoes this week and we are happy with the crop we see so far.
Reminder that Hallockville is having their big fall festival this weekend, we highly recommend it. Our families connection to the Hallockville museum is that my great grandparents were Konstanty and Adela Cichanowicz, and their house was restored and its a real treat going and seeing pictures of my grandfather as a little boy riding a bike around the property. I would love to walk a day in their shoes and experience life in the 1930's and see all the real struggles of life that they faced.
