Farm Happenings for December 6, 2022

Posted on November 30th, 2022 by Emily Asmus

We are getting all the weather this week! But between the snow and showers I'll be able to get out and harvest lovely fresh greens- lettuce mix, spinach, kale and arugula. Enjoy both the late season greens and stock up on storage crops. Potatoes and garlic will store for a couple of months in a cool, dark and dry place. Beets and cabbage will happily hold for months in your fridge. The delivery on the 13th will be the final one of the year.

Below you will also find a link to a survey on this year's CSA experience. Please complete and submit your responses in the next week. I'll be working on 2023 offerings in December to have those ready to go in the New Year. Your input will be valuable in this process.

Finally, we have a past Whitman intern who is working on an environmental studies- political science-econ thesis. The last 3 questions on the survey (link above) will provide anecdotal information for this project. Your time and thoughts will be greatly appreciated!
