Farm Happenings for September 3, 2019

Happy Labor Day weekend friends! I hope many of you are getting to the Fair to check out the exhibits created and grown by so many talented residents of our valley. Or may you be getting a outside for another day of lake swimming or mountain exploring. Or may you be putting up pickles or kraut or tomato sauce or peaches for those long winter days ahead. My two annual traditions are the potato dig on Monday, to which you are all invited (9-12) at the farm, and washing quilts. I love filling the clothes line in the yard with our blankets, clean washed, ready to soak up a last dose of summer sun. So many ways to stockpile the bounty of the season....
