Farm Happenings for July 27, 2022

Posted on July 23rd, 2022 by Trent Loewen

It’s been a good growing week! It hasn’t rained for a week or two here so we’re starting to irrigate again. We finally have carrots ready, lots of broccoli, cabbage, and tomatoes. The peas are filling out so we’ll be picking snap peas this week for sure, and maybe shelling peas. I don’t have many available for your box right now but check back on Monday evening, I’ll update the quantity after another look at them on Monday. Garlic scapes, beets, cherry tomatoes, and kohlrabi are also available to swap in.

Your box will be built automatically with only produce in it but everything else is available to swap in. Besides the produce, there is beef from Barnes Creek Ranch, pasture-raised eggs, fresh baking (baked by my Mom), handmade soap from The Sudsy Llama, and our homemade ranch dressing.

As always, if you have any trouble with swapping or anything else, you’re welcome to call/text or email. Trent - 306-883-8832, Lois - 306-883-9289. Also the folks at Harvie are happy to help, reach them at support@harvie.farm.

Have a great week!
