Farm Happenings for July 13, 2022

Posted on July 10th, 2022 by Trent Loewen

We had a great evening here at our Open House on Saturday! We really enjoyed the time together with all our friends and neighbors who came out for that. The weather was beautiful!

Have you had green garlic? It’s new for us, but we grew some spring planted garlic for that. You can use it fresh or in cooking, like you would use green onions. There are a few strawberries to swap in, as well as a limited amount of cucumbers. The first bok choy is ready this week too. Your box will be built automatically with only produce in it but everything else is available to swap in. Besides the produce, there is grass-fed beef from Barnes Creek Ranch, pasture-raised eggs, sauerkraut, fresh baking (baked by my Mom), handmade soap from The Sudsy Llama, and our homemade ranch dressing.

As always, if you have any trouble with swapping or anything else, you’re welcome to call/text or email. Trent - 306-883-8832, Lois - 306-883-9289. Also the folks at Harvie are happy to help, reach them at support@harvie.farm.

Have a great week!
