The 2020 season is almost here and some exciting news!

Posted on March 11th, 2020 by Scott Kosiba

Hello produce-starved residents of Sublette County!

Tumbleweed Farms is happy to announce that winter is winding down (I think?) and that means you're only a few short months away from CSA season. We've expanded our operation significantly this year and would love to share some big news and upcoming plans for Tumbleweed and the Sublette Co community.

First off, Tumbleweed Farms was lucky to be chosen as the winners of the 2020 Sublette County Chamber of Commerce Jumpstart-Your-Business competition. The competition was fierce and we're so grateful for the honor and are excited to continue building our organization to better serve our community. We're excited to announce our plans to construct a multi-million dollar aquaponics facility right here in Sublette County. Now, we're still a couple years away from breaking ground but Sublette is one step closer to having fresh, local produce all year long! Not to mention Sublette County shrimp, crawfish, and delicious fish species.

April 18th--mark it in your calendars. Tumbleweed Farms will be hosting a Cajun Night at the Lovatt Room in the Sublette County Library in Pinedale. We'll be serving up an authentic cajun crawfish boil cooked up by our very own Madeline Kosiba and Ian McCusker with live crawfish brought in from Louisiana. There will be great food, live music, and adult beverages from Wind River Brewing Company. Tickets will go on sale soon!

Our CSA program is live and you can now sign up for our 2020 season. Get ready for Palisade peaches, apricots, plums, pluots, tomatoes, kale, spinach, onions, peppers, apples, and many many other delicious fruits and veggies this summer. We're also excited to announce partnerships with Killpecker Creek Cattle Co in Daniel, WY and Pine Coffee Supply in Pinedale. Now you can order locally produced beef products and coffee along with your produce shares and we'll have it ready for you when you pick up your CSA boxes.

We're so excited for this summer and can't wait to fill you all up with fruits and veggies,

Madeline and Scott
