Farm Happenings for August 18, 2021

Posted on August 13th, 2021 by Scott Kosiba

Happy August Tumbleweed family!

We're getting ready for another great week of delicious produce in Sublette County. The dog days of summer are upon us which means some late summer fruits and veggies are ripening up for your shares. This week, we're excited to introduce pears, cantaloupes, and donut peaches to shares!

Tumbleweed Farms wants you to get the best produce available, always. If anything you've received in your share is not delicious, nutritious, and fresh, please let us know and we'll make it right.

Freshness tip:

It's warm outside and although we take great pains to keep your fruits and veggies as fresh as possible, the heat and sun will take their toll. We recommend rehydrating any greens by soaking stems in a bowl of ice water. If you're enrolled in home delivery, consider keeping a cooler outside where we can store your share if you're not home.
