Farm Happenings for August 11, 2021

Posted on August 7th, 2021 by Madeline Kosiba

Hello Tumbleweed Family,

We're in full swing and this cooler weather and moisture has given our farmers a reprieve. This week we're excited to offer another week of delicious produce delivered straight to your home or corner of this lovely county we all call home.

Remember, you have full customization control of your share and what goes in it each week. You can swap, add, adjust your share contents so you're getting all the goodies that you and your family want.

New things this week:

-all the peppers! (bell, Anaheim, Serrano and jalapeno!)

-tomatillos

Side note on the quality of produce: We totally understand that some customers are not used to seeing imperfect produce. We want all of our Tumbleweed Fam to know that we do do quality control for your shares, and although some of the products may not be "pretty" they are still quite delicious. Selling "imperfect" fruits and veggies actually helps reduce food waste, which is a main goal for us at Tumbleweed Farms. On that note, we know that our tomatoes this year took a hit with the heat, so we want to give them a break for the rest of the season. This week will be the last for tomato shares :(

As always, we're so grateful for your support. We couldn't do what we do without our Tumbleweed Fam and place like Sublette County.

Our best,

Madeline and Scott
