Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Winter, Week 45&46, Apr 4

---- Hydroponic Produce ----

As you saw on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/Trumpeter-Swan-Farm-104211219703077/wall/
the produce in our hydroponic table has grown really well, liking the sunshine and warm temps. We have romaine lettuce and bok choi that we will harvest this week. Spinach from our high tunnel. And radishes from our greenhouse.

---- Spring Planting ----

The fields have dried quickly, so we are able to do some field work. Its too early to plant seeds or potatoes, but we did plant some onion sets. We are running about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. However, rain and cooler weather later this week should put us more on an average track.

---- Nice Bread Choices ----

We are trying some different choices of sourdough breads from Diamond City. Cinnamon Raisin and Bacon Cheddar. After April, we will reduce the amount of bread as produce starts to come in stronger. Its been fun having bread as a choice over the slacker winter months! In May, Garret will resume selling bread weekly at the Buffalo Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

Thanks,
Phil.
