Howdy!
This week at the farm we prepared half of our field with cover crop to prepare for fall planting. Since we have a sandy-loam soil structure this cover crop will allow us to add more organic nutrients to the soil. Or first session of roselle is doing great out in the field, I believe that we will have or first roselle harvest August 1st.
I will be leaving for vacation today and won't be back until 7/9. Farmer Val will be at the 7/1 and 7/8 markets with your CSA bags.
