Deliveries are back with another three weeks in a row with lots of summer bounty! This week there are both slicing and cherry tomatoes, green and yellow beans, cilantro, cauliflower, baby potatoes, celery, LOTS of patty pan squash, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, jalapeno and poblano peppers, and much more! The cauliflower and cilantro are not around for long so be sure to grab some if they are a favourite.
Terran and I spent two days harvesting all the garlic and it is looking wonderful. Fresh garlic is available to order this week and fully cured garlic will be available in 2 to 3 weeks. We will be selling garlic by the bulb and by the kg for those that wish to stock up for the winter. Garlic stores very well with little help and local, organic garlic is much nicer to eat through than winter than the average grocery store garlic!
While we are in the thick of summer, fall crops are looking good and more are being planting all the time. Soon, the last of the fall crops (other than leafy greens) will be planted and then we just have to wait for them to mature!
