Farm Update for April 15, 2022

Posted on April 15th, 2022 by Mike Kozlowski

With the recent snows and cold weather it takes some imagination to think that we will be transplanting crops out into the field in about three weeks. Luckily, it is warm in the greenhouse where I am pictured above, watering our onions. We have about 15,000 onions seeded that are all doing quite well. Our first couple successions of beets are also scheduled to be transplanted in early May and they are off to a great start. The rest of the farm crew and I are really enjoying distributing food to you and we can't wait to be out in the field again growing our own food for you to enjoy.

This week we reordered products from a number of suppliers and expect those items to trickle in over the next week. We don't have much new to add to the list this week but expect that the following week will be a big one in terms of restocking and adding a new products. I hope that you are enjoying the selection and I am still eager to receive your feedback.

New this Week

Dose Coffee Co (Red Deer)

  • Decaf coffee beans

Restocked This Week

Blush Lane Organics (BC)

  • Organic Gala and Pink Lady Apples
