Winter Share on Sale, 1 lb Garlic and Tomatoes

Posted on October 12th, 2020 by Mike Kozlowski

Hello Folks,

Thank you so much for being a part of our vegetable box program this summer. This is the last week of the summer program. It means so much to me, my family and my staff to have a direct relationship with the families that we grow food for. This is extremely fulfilling work. I hope that our vegetables have energized your kitchen, provided you with delicious and comforting meals and diversified your pallet.

Winter Share

Our winter share is now on sale. You can sign up at https://www.harvie.farm/signup/steel-pony-farm.

The program will run from the week of November 2nd to the week of December 28th. You can pick up each week or every other week and we have the same three sizes available - $20, $30 and $40 boxes.

Our pick up location is the new Wild Brewing Co location which is just west of the Troubled Monk. We are also offering home delivery. I hope to have a chance to serve you this winter.

I am experimenting with a new payment option this winter. Instead of paying 25% upfront to hold you space the cost to hold that space is one payment of the weekly delivery price (which will be credited to your first week of the program). I'm hoping that this will make the program more accessible to everyone. Of course, you are welcome to pay in full upfront if that is your preference.

Garlic

I still have a few bags of garlic left that I purchased from John Mills from Eagle Creek Farm. I believe that this garlic is from seed stock I sold him and it is going to be delicious. I am going to bag this up into 1 lb bags (like last year) and add them to the extras page. The variety is Red Russian.

Tomatoes

I also have a few more bags of tomatoes from John at Eagle Creek that I am going to add to the extras page. T

Your farmer,

Mike
