As spring is beginning, we are getting things sorted for the first deliveries. We filled our coolroom with over wintered root veggies, sweetened by the many frosts they've seen during winter. Alongside some stored pumpkins and fresh greens we've got a great start for the season.
After the garden's 'lean' months of September& October, a bounty of greens and peas of all kinds, broadbeans, broccoli, and many other brassicas along with yummy fresh roots and herbs, to mention a few, will make for some great food on our tables.
With some new greenhouses we got up and planted nice and early, more variety will be available earlier on as a bonus on top of the summer fruit vegetables like capsicum, tomato and eggplant.
