Week #11 on deck and the final week #12 in the hole!!!

The summer season is in full swing!

Hard to believe that we are nearing fall, but yes that it is just around the corner.

This is somewhat a transition time on the farm of course as all the "fruiting" crops are really coming in, but new fall crops are also being planted an tended.

Lots of carrots, beets, different types of greens, kohlrabi, leeks, etc. Seasonal, Colorado, eating!

One aspect of farming many of you don't know is that farming is really only about the soil.  I farm the soil so much more than the plants that grow in the soil.  If I can get the a balance in the soil with minerals, nutrients, microbiology and proper physical characteristics the plants thrive!  They are resistant to diseases and pest.  That's the bullseye!  And I continually work towards hitting the bullseye.  I have put a lot of darts on the board but rarely hit the middle.

Thanks to all of you that have enrolled for the Late Summer/Fall Season.  At the time of this writing there are still 2 spots left if any of you are waiting, procrastinating or just plain forgot.

Thank you all!
