Welcome to Week #1

Posted on May 11th, 2020 by Cale Sprister

Well the first week’s deliveries are upon us!

My little patch of well cared for soil is finally maturing healthy, hyperlocal veggies for you and your family.

As I stated in past e-mails please be patient in these early weeks of the season.  Product availability, variety and selection will be limited for several weeks. And, unfortunately I may even suspend deliveries for a week or 2 if crops aren’t maturing well enough.

That will change as we move farther into the warmer months and I assure you any shortfall will be made up for!

The great thing about partnering with Harvie is the all the customization options to really dial into your needs with what I am producing.  I encourage you to use the content in these weekly e-mails and the produce you select to their fullest!

So, this week is a big greens week.  Baby spinach, braising greens, Chinese cabbage, and arugula are in good supply. I have some beautiful purple radish and of course some carrots.

The herbs to choose from for the week are chives and oregano which look beautiful out in the perennial area.

On the delivery side please be mindful of the location and time of the delivery.  I will send out a group text when I either have delivered to the Host box or I am at the delivery location.

For those picking up in Crystal Valley and the Meadows areas of Castle Rock, I have shrunk the pick-up time down to 30 mins.  I will be traveling between the 2 locations on Monday evenings so please help me out with being punctual!

I am really looking forward to serving you and your family in the weeks ahead.
