SPRING CSA WILL OPEN NEXT WEEK!

You will receive a separate email with details about our new Salad CSA and where to sign up for the Spring Season, which starts on April 15th!

Here's a brief rundown...

In order to make our CSA more profitable we have decided to reduce the number of crops we grow throughout the year.

This allows us to 1) do a top notch job at growing these crops because we can focus on fewer things at once (multitasking doesn't exist remember?) and 2) get YOU more of the veggies you love the most and more of the veggies that are THE BEST from local growers.

SO, that means we are moving away from growing all of your veggies to growing you the most awesome salads you will ever eat for you and your family!

We are really excited about this transition and we hope you will be too!

What will I get?

Again, there will be more details in the email next week as well as on our website, but here's the new crop list:

  • Salad Type Greens: lettuce mix, head lettuce, asian greens mix, arugula, spinach
  • Micro Greens: micro salad mix, pea shoots, sunflower shoots, broccoli micros, mild micros, daikon micros, red kale micros and more
  • Root Bunches: salad turnips, carrots, radishes, some beets and scallions, and we will have garlic this year
  • Summer Fruits: cucumbers, sweet peppers, tomatoes - including heirlooms, and cherry tomatoes

If you have any questions you can always email me at farmers@robinettefarms.com if you want to know more! Otherwise, look for an email from me sometime during the week of 3/9-3/13!

Thanks for all your support!
