Farm News: March 10-11, 2022

Posted on March 3rd, 2022 by Robinette Farms

If you haven't heard, one of our suppliers, Dutch Girl Creamery, had a fire at their cheese processing plant on Monday. Their business partner on the farm, Ian Richmond, suffered burns and the loss of all of his belongings and our community is currently raising funds for his recovery.

If you can, please consider donating to Ian's Go Fund Me Campaign.

When the Dutch Girl/ShadowBrook owners have a plan of action for community assistance we will let you know how you can help! Thank you!

Thanks for being part of strengthening our local food system! It's so much fun to discover new farmers and food artisans in Nebraska because I absolutely don't know all of them. Are there any items you would like to see available but aren't? Email me or shoot me a text at 844-387-6383 with the keyword LOCAL to let me know what you'd love to see!

NEW THIS WEEK: Mushrooms from Abie, fresh pressed organic juices from Clean Juice, Cheddar nuggets and block from Jisa, Tea, Elixer, Matcha, and one pot Kitchari from Milkweed, Handmade pasta from Capo di Tutto, Salad mix, spinach and micro greens from Robinette, Whole and 2% milk, and cream from Burbach's, jam from Kennelwood Farms, certified organic potatoes from White Rock Farms (colorado), and SO MANY OTHER LOCAL GOODIES!

If you receive home delivery and have ice packs hanging around at your house, remember that you can put them out for our driver to pick up at your next delivery! We will reuse them until we can't! Thanks!
