Greens, Eggs and Jam (and flowers, and strawberries, and tomatoes!)

Dear All,

There's a lot of uncertainty and scariness right now, but there's also a lot of beauty. Like Flowers4Food! At our Saturday pick-up, you can get a pre-ordered bouquet from the NOLA Flower Collective. 100% of the revenue will be donated to support food access and local food distribution. Click here for more info and to pre-order. You can pay through Venmo @flowers4food and pick up at our farm on Saturday.

This week, we have a lot of beautiful greens and an assortment of other exciting veggies that we hope you'll enjoy. We also continue expanding our selections from other local food producers and growers. This week our extras include:

  • Strawberries from Johndale Farm!
  • Eggs from Local Cooling Farm
  • Oyster Mushrooms from Mycelium Express
  • Onigirazu (Avocado and egg or Roasted Carrot) from The Lost Line
  • Jamboree Jams

We are also including various organic salad greens, radicchio(!) and carrots from Compostella Farm again, and have pints of cherry tomatoes from Tomott's!

Thank you again and stay well!

Annie and Cheryl

PS - Some of you have seen our Rutabaga Ginsburg T-shirts and wondered about purchasing them through the Farm Share. We have an Etsy shop with lots of vegetable celebrity pun merchandise. You can place an order on Etsy and make a note that you're in our Farm Share. We'll refund the shipping and include your order in your veggie box.

PPS - We're still accepting returned white takeout style microgreens containers, so keep 'em coming!
