Thankfully we were spared this past week from Sally. We want to thank you all for being flexible in switching pick-up times on such short notice. All things considered, it went pretty smoothly and we really appreciate you changing your schedules to accommodate us. We're crossing our fingers we don't have to do it all again next week.
All of this dismantling and reassembling the farm has been a major time suck and set us back a few days, but the food in the field is still growing. This week, look out for more delicious cooking greens, radishes and turnips, microgreens and more from us, salad greens from Compostella, okra, sweet potatoes, and muscadine grapes (in extras) from Indian Springs, and delicata squash from Faust Farm on the North Shore. Our extras section includes Local Cooling eggs, Mycelium Express mushrooms, and for the first time ever, tofu from VEGGI Co-op!
