Extended Season Means More Planting

Posted on May 2nd, 2020 by Annie Moore

Hi all,

We hope you're all enjoying the beautiful start of May and are doing a lot of Jazz Festing in place this weekend. We are now onto the extended season for our farm share, which will likely extend again into June. We're continuing to plant new crops, including more greens and plenty of summer crops to keep production going into the next couple months.

We have loads of summer squash and pickling cukes coming off the field right now, and we're excited to be adding beets from Compostella to our numbers so more folks can get them if they'd like. Look out for beautiful strawberries and blueberries from Johndale Farm in the extras section. And a heads up that BeetsNThyme fettuccine is now 8oz a pack or a full lb at a discounted price. Mushrooms are unfortunately on hold this week, but should be back in action next week.

One request of everyone: We are trying to provide the safest environment for continuing this service during Covid and ask that you please do your part by wearing a mask when you pick up your veggies.

Thanks for continuing on with us into our extended weeks. Enjoy the sunshine!

Annie and Cheryl

PS - Please return your microgreens containers. We can reuse them!
