Teamwork is achieved when multiple people work together individually for the Same Common Goal.

A couple of weeks ago a professional photographer was here doing a story on teamwork. We think it turned out nice and wanted to share the behind scenes story...

Farmer Phil and Ignasio are hard at work on the farm.

Ignasio has been working at Riehm's for the last two years for the guest worker program from Mexico.

Another valued member of our team at the farm is Jacobo.

"I am 32 years old. I am from a place called Chiapas, Mexico. I have been traveling to work in the U.S. for the past 8 years on a special Visa program. The first three years I traveled to work in Kentucky. The last five years I have worked with Riehm's Produce Farm in Ohio."

"In Mexico my family has a small coffee farm, but we DID NOT make enough money to live on so I decided to join the guest worker program as a safe way to come work in the US".

"I think it is important that people understand that our work is a circle of help. We help people put food on their tables. Farmers and consumers help us put food on our families tables in Mexico."

We love having the opportunity to partner with other businesses within our community in NW Ohio too. Providing people with our Market boxes conveniently helps you source local items.

Fall/Winter Market Box Testimonial: Jessica Wirth, owner of Bailiwicks

“The partnership with Riehm Produce Farm has helped my business to expand and grow into new areas. It has allowed me to move beyond a single retail location and now people all over Northwest Ohio can conveniently get high quality, fresh, locally roasted coffee delivered with their vegetable shares!”

The coffee for this week's pre-orders is Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a light roast coffee with a pleasant bright finish and notes of honey and green apple.
